West Union Presbyterian Church (also known as West Union United Presbyterian Church) is a historic church standing at 108 S. 2nd Street in West Union, Ohio. Constructed in 1810, it is the oldest church building in Ohio that is still used as a church.
The church is nicknamed the "Church of the Governors", as Ohio's second governor, Thomas Kirker, helped organize the congregation, and Thomas Metcalfe, a mason who later became Governor of Kentucky, helped construct the church's walls.[2] The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. The church is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
