The West Indian Under-19 cricket team have been playing official Under-19 test matches since 1974. Future international players to have represented the team include Brian Lara, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Ramnaresh Sarwan and Courtney Walsh. They have played 35 matches, with their last match against England at Riverside Ground, Chester-le-Street, 28 August 2001. Their win/loss record is 12/5.[1]
