West Hills College Coalinga, established in 1932, is a public two-year community college serving students in the San Joaquin Valley. In addition, there is an additional center, North District Center, at Firebaugh. West Hills College Coalinga is part of West Hills Community College District.
It is one of the 11 California community colleges that have dormitories and attracts students from around the world. WHC actively recruits students from other countries to enroll at WHC.[1] English as a Second Language programs are generous.
West Hills College Coalinga offers football, baseball and basketball for men and volleyball and softball for women. A top-ranked rodeo team that competes against two and four year schools is coed. Other sports programs are being added.
West Hills College Coalinga is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
