Wentworthville is a railway station on the North Shore, Northern & Western Line of the Sydney Trains network. It serves the well established and growing residential area of Wentworthville. It has four tracks, paired by direction. All trains to the city leave from the same island platform, so if the train arrives on an unexpected track, commuters only have to walk to the opposite side of the same island platform. Wentworthville does not yet have Easy Access for wheelchairs.

Wentworthville is the 82nd most patronised railway station in Sydney (out of a total of 176 stations), with an average of 3060 passengers boarding per day.

Upgrades

Designs for a major upgrade at Wentworthville station were open for community feedback from Monday 8 December 2014 to Monday 22 December 2014. The upgrade includes four new lifts, a new concourse area with information displays, as well as safety upgrades to stairs and repairs to the pedestrian footbridge.[1][2]
