History

The College was founded in 1972. Wentworth was refounded in 2001 and became the postgraduate only college of the University.[3] Postgraduates can however choose membership of any of the colleges at the University. Wentworth has about 460 resident graduate students, and serves as the base for the Graduate Students' Association.

Buildings and services

Wentworth houses the Department of Sociology, Edge (formerly the Kasbah), a cafe by day which turns into a bar at night. Along with the Graduate Common Room, this plays host to many of the events organised by the GSA throughout the year.

In addition, Wentworth has a computer room, Yoga room, a quiet reading room for study and a laundry room.
