Wayne Selden, Jr. (born September 30, 1994) is an American college basketball player who plays at the University of Kansas. He was one of the top college basketball recruits in 2013.
Early life
Selden was born in Roxbury, Massachusetts to Lavette Pitts and Wayne Selden, Sr.. He also has a brother and sister, Anthony Selden and Taylor Guarino-Selden.[1] He was a McDonald's All-American.
College career
Selden went to Kansas, where he played with fellow McDonald's All-Americans Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid. He played in 35 games during his freshman year. In Selden's debut against UL Monroe at Allen Field House, he scored eight points. Selden scored his career high at Oklahoma with 24 points in a 90–83 win.
