Wayllayuq (Quechua waylla meadow, -yuq a suffix to indicate ownership,[2] "the one with a meadow", hispanicized spelling Huayllayoc) is a mountain in the Ch'ila in the Andes of Peru, about 5,300 metres (17,388 ft) high. It is located in the Arequipa Region, Castilla Province, Chachas District. Wayllayuq lies at the river Qaqamayu (Quechua for "rock river", hispanicized Cacamayo) which later is named Qullpamayu ("salpeter river", Collpamayo). Its waters flow to the Colca River.[1]
