Waylla T'arphuna (Aymara waylla Stipa obtusa, a kind of feather grass, t'arphuña to stop, to finish,[2][3] -na a suffix, "where the stipa ends", hispanicized spelling Huayllatarpuna) is a mountain in the Andes of Peru, about 5,300 metres (17,388 ft) high. It is situated in the Arequipa Region, Castilla Province, Chachas District. Waylla T'arphuna lies in a remote, mountainous area east of Orcopampa (Urqupampa).[1]
