Waverton Investment Management is an investment management firm headquartered in Westminster, London, United Kingdom.

History

The firm was founded as J. O. Hambro Investment Management by Richard Hambro in 1986.[1] It was acquired by Credit Suisse in 2001, who sold it to Somers Limited in 2013.

The firm had GBP£4.5 billion of assets under management in December 2013.[1] It was renamed Waverton Investment Management in 2014,[1] after Richard Hambro's family home.[2] Its Chief Executive is Hugh Grootenhuis.[2]
