Waupaca High School is a public high school located in Waupaca, Wisconsin. The school educates about 850 students in grades 9 to 12.

Waupaca High School moved to its current location in 2000 with the completion of its new facility. Since that time, the Waupaca Middle School has moved in to where the old building resides.

Academics

Standard academic material is offered in the High School, including core mathematics, English, the social sciences (with World and United States History classes), pure and applied sciences, etc.

Sports

The School takes part in a variety of sports, including Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross-Country, football, golf, hockey, soccer, softball, track & field, volleyball, and wrestling. The 2006 Waupaca Comets football team won the WIAA Division 3 State Championship game by defeating Greendale, 7-3. The team finished the season with a record of 12-2.

The 2008 Waupaca Comets football team won the WIAA Division 3 State Championship game by defeating Reedsburg High School, 21-20. The team finished the season with a record of 14-0, with their defense recording eight shutouts.

Extracurricular

Waupaca High School offers a variety of opportunities to compete against other students and schools, including Chess, Forensics, Dance, Math Team, Debate, Solo & Ensemble Instrumental Music, Drama, Solo & Ensemble Vocal Music, and FFA. In addition, the school supports a variety of clubs such as Art Club, SADD, Beat the Heat, Spanish Club, STARS, German Club, Student Council, Instrumental Music, VICA, Key Club, Vocal Music, National Honor Society, Yearbook, and Pep Club.[2]
