Watford, Derbyshire

Watford is a small collection of houses, historically part of the hamlet of Whitle, in Derbyshire, England. It is made up of Watford Bridge, Watford Bridge Road, Watford Cottages, Watford Lodge and apartments, and Watford Road. The Sett Valley Trail also runs through the area.

Watford Bridge

Watford Bridge is a 13-foot (3.96 m) railway bridge about halfway down Watford Bridge Road with the Sett Valley Trail running above.

Watford Bridge Road

Watford Bridge Road is a road with about 20 houses leading between Bridge Street and High Hill Road.

Watford Cottages

Watford Cottages are a group of about 3 cottages on the corner between Bridge Street and Watford Road.

Watford Lodge and Apartments

At the bottom of Watford Bridge Road are two mill lodges and an apartment block that used to be a house. The lodges were once used by the local sawmill, which went bankrupt in 2008.
