Watershed College is a private school situated in a pastoral setting near the town of Marondera in Zimbabwe. The College provides secondary education as well as an Agricultural course for girls and boys between the ages of 13 and 19.
Watershed is predominantly a full-boarding school. Hostels accommodate 480 children, divided equally between boys and girls. A small number of students are day–scholar students who are mostly children of the staff and nearby farmers.
The school opened in 1987. Most of the children were drawn from surrounding farming communities. In later years students have been drawn predominantly from Harare. The first intake had 87 children with seven teachers and a headmaster.
The school's sporting facilities include three rugby fields, the 400m athletics track, the javelin, shotput and discus areas and the long jump/triple jump sand pits. There are four hockey fields, a swimming pool, two basketball courts, two squash courts, eight tennis courts and a cross-country track.
The college has produced provincial and national basketball players.
Many rugby players have also passed through Watershed.
