Watermark is an album by the Irish musician Enya, released on 19 September 1988 in the United Kingdom and 10 January 1989 in the United States. Featuring her first major hit, "Orinoco Flow", Watermark was Enya's breakthrough album release, and is considered a seminal example of new-age music, although Enya herself does not consider her work to be of that genre.
Two versions of the album were released. In 1989, an extended reissue of Watermark included "Storms in Africa (Part II)" (as sung in English), which had been released as a single.
In 2009, Watermark was re-released in Japan as an Exclusive Limited Edition Remastered on SHM-CD. The remastered version is available on iTunes, Amazon and others.[5]

Related singles
- "Orinoco Flow" was released in October 1988 with "Smaointe..." and "Out of the Blue" as B-sides. It was re-released in 1998 in a special remixed edition (b-sides: "Hope Has a Place" and "Pax Deorum").
- "Evening Falls..." was released in December 1988 with "Oíche Chiún" and "Morning Glory" as accompanying tracks. ("Chiún" apparent misspelling of "Chiúin".)
- "Storms in Africa (Part II)" was released in May 1989, with "Aldebaran", "The Celts", and "Storms in Africa" as accompanying tracks. It is a faster tempo remix of the original album version of "Storms in Africa" with English lyrics replacing the original Irish ones.
- "Exile" was released in 1991, after it appeared in the film L.A. Story. The album tracks "On Your Shore", "Watermark" and "River" were also included on the 12"/CD single.
