Washington Conference (1943)

The Third Washington Conference (codenamed Trident[1]) was held in Washington, D.C. was a World War II strategic meeting from May 12 to May 27, 1943, between the heads of government of the United Kingdom and the United States. The delegations were headed by Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt, respectively.[2]

The plans for the Italian Campaign, air attacks on Nazi Germany, Pacific War and a date for invading Europe were agreed upon.
