Ward No. 45, Kolkata Municipal Corporation is an administrative division of Kolkata Municipal Corporation in Borough No. 5, covering parts of Esplanade West and B.B.D. Bagh neighbourhoods in central Kolkata, in the Indian state of West Bengal. It forms a city municipal corporation council electoral constituency and is a part of Chowranghee (Vidhan Sabha constituency).[1]

Overview

The boundaries of the ward are: Port Trust Road from the River Hooghly leading to Mahatma Gandhi Road, Raja Woodmount Street, C.I.T. Road and Biplabi Rashbehari Bose Road are in the north. Stand Road, C.I.T. Road, Rabindra Sarani, B.B.D. Bag East, Old Court House St. and Government Place East are to the east. Lal Bazar Street, Lawrence Road, Eden Garden Road and a line drawn in continuation of Strand Road to the river Hooghly are to the south. The Hooghly River is to the west.[2][3]
