Waqaypaka or Waqay Paka (Quechua waqay, to cry, crying, paka eagle[2] "crying eagle", hispanicized spelling Huacaypaca) is a mountain in the Andes of Peru, about 5,300 metres (17,388 ft) high. It lies in the Lima Region, Huarochiri Province, in the north of the Tantaranche District. Waqaypaka is situated north-east of the lake Chumpiqucha.[1]
