Wang Zhengwei (Chinese: 王正伟; born June 1957) is a Chinese politician and former chairman (governor) of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. After the 12th National People's Congress in 2013, Wang was appointed to head the State Ethnic Affairs Commission.[1] He is also the chairman of Ningxia Social Science Association, a member of the Chinese Ethnic Writers Association and a member of the Ningxia Writers Association. He belongs to the Hui ethnicity, was born in Tongxin, Ningxia, and holds a doctorate in ethnic economics. He joined the Communist Party of China in October 1981.

He is an alternate member of the 16th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (elevated to full membership during the 4th conference of the committee), and a full member of the 17th Central Committee.
