Walter T. Mosley

Walter T. Mosley (born Walter Mosley III in Brooklyn, New York[1]) was elected on November 6, 2012 to represent the 57th district of the New York State Assembly. He serves the neighborhoods of Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Prospect Heights, and parts of Crown Heights and Bedford Stuyvesant.[2][3]

Education

Walter Mosley III attended Pennsylvania State University where he obtained his Bachelor degree in criminology. He would later continue his education at Howard University where he received his law degree in 1998.

Career

He is currently the Assemblyman for District 57. Prior to this he already had an active career in the political field as senior adviser to the Deputy Speaker of New York State Assembly and chief of staff and senior consultant to the New York State Assembly.

Personal life

His mother is Marilyn Mosley, the president of Progressive Association for Political Action (PAPA).[1] Mosley's political aspirations are also supported by his young son Sebastian and his wife Janice.
