Walter Lorenzo Marr (August 14, 1865 - December 11, 1941) was the creator of the Marr Auto-Car Company from 1903-1904.[1] He was the first Chief Engineer for Buick from 1904-1918.[2]

He was born on August 14, 1865, in Lexington, Michigan.[3]

He created the Marr Auto-Car Company in 1903.[1] He was the first Chief Engineer for Buick from 1904-1918.[2]

He died on December 11, 1941.[4]

Legacy

His papers are archived at Kettering University.[5] He had a vacation home at Signal Mountain, Tennessee.[6]
