Wallpayuq (Quechua wallpa hen, -yuq a suffix to indicate ownership,[2] "the one with a hen", hispanicized, erroneous name Hualipayoc (walipa instead of wallpa)[3]) is a mountain in the Willkanuta mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,600 metres (18,373 ft) high. It is situated in the Cusco Region, Quispicanchi Province, Ocongate District. Wallpayuq lies north-west of the mountain Allqamarinayuq and south-east of the lake Sinkrinaqucha.[1]
