Wadi Halfa Airport

Wadi Halfa Airport is an airport in Wadi Halfa, Sudan (IATA: WHF, ICAO: HSSW). Satellite and aerial photography from 2003 indicate that the airport has a single unpaved runway of approximately 2000m, orientated NE/SW, with a small paved apron and terminal building at the southern end. The airport is situated approximately 14 km from Wadi Halfa new town, though it can only be accessed by an unimproved 10 km desert track, leading off the paved Wadi Halfa-Atbara desert highway.[1]
