History

It featured a 750 hp supercharged diesel engine, the suspension was made up by 7 road wheels and 4 return rollers; the Inducer laid in front, with driving wheel in the rear. This type of tank use many Soviet tanks' elements of design. [1]

The first prototype - without - turret ran from 1964. Because of many technology problems, it was set aside in 1966.[2][3] [4] A WZ-111 hull is now displayed in the China Tank Museum, Beijing.
