History
The station was assigned the call sign WMUI on 1984-02-29. On 1985-11-27, the station changed its call sign to WASE, on 1986-01-21 to the current WWUF,[2]
On January 1, 2009 WWUF changed their format from oldies to classic hits.
On December 26, 2009 WWUF changed their format from classic hits to hot AC. Current programming comes from Cumulus Media's Today's Best Hits format.
