History
The first air date October 17 2005 The station is an oldies formatted radio station playing the 50s music. The station went on the air as WWAR-LP on 2003-04-23 and on 2003-07-16, the station changed its call sign to the current WQAZ.[3] in 2012 WQAZ Help local community to Find Food and Water and Gas During sandy storm of 11-3-2012.
On 27 Feb 2015, the station was assessed a $ 16,000 fine by the Federal Communications Commission for airing commercial messages in violation of non-commercial broadcast regulations.
