Due to its transmitter being atop a mountain, WINC-FM's strong signal can be heard throughout the Shenandoah Valley and Northern Virginia, the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, parts of Maryland, Pennsylvania, and the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.[7]
