WEQP is a Religious formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Rustburg, Virginia, serving Lynchburg and Campbell County, Virginia.[1] WEQP is owned and operated by Calvary Chapel Lynchburg.[2]
Station sold
The then-WWEM was sold by Educational Media Corporation for $136,000 to Pathway Christian Academy of Goldsboro, North Carolina, operator of the Go Mix! Radio network. The sale was consummated on November 20, 2014. On March 18, 2015, WWEM was sold to Calvary Chapel Lynchburg and the call letters were changed to WEQP on March 26, 2015. The station now operates as Equip FM.
