WBOJ
WBOJ (88.5 FM, "The Truth") is a radio station licensed to the community of Lumpkin, Georgia and to serve Columbus, Georgia and its metro area. It broadcasts as a Contemporary Christian radio station.[1] It began broadcasting in April 2008 at frequency 103.7, but, as of December 2009, it is broadcasting at 88.5.[2]
WBOJ was put on the air by former WCGQ PD/Air Talent Lee McCard who was the morning host until July 2009. Morning successor Heath Jackson was shot and killed at his home in September 2010, in a murder case which stunned Columbus. Police arrested a suspected burglar on murder charges. The current morning host is station manager Brian Hite.
