"Vossa Excelência" is the nineteenth single by Titãs, released in 2005. The song basically criticizes the hypocrisy and lack of care from politicians, referring to the Mensalão scandal.[1] Lines like "Estão nas mangas dos Senhores Ministros" (They are on the sleeves of the mister ministers), refer to the episode in which 100 thousand dollars were found on the underwear of a person who worked for José Genoíno, former president of PT. The song features an aggressive chorus: "Filha da Puta! Bandido! Corrupto! Ladrão!" (Son of a bitch! Criminal! Corrupt! Thief!).
