Voodoo is the first studio album by the South Korean boy band VIXX. It was released on November 25, 2013 under the label of Jellyfish Entertainment. It features the single "Voodoo Doll".
Background and release
On November 7, VIXX released a music video for the album's pre-release single "Only U".
On November 12, VIXX revealed the first teaser image confirming the album via their official Twitter account. The image portrayed an old voodoo doll, laying in a heap of straw.[1]
On November 13, a group teaser photo as well as individual member photos were released via the group's official site.[2][3] Jellyfish also posted a photo of a giant voodoo doll hanging upside down on the company's office building in Apgujeong.[4]
Promotion
VIXX had their first comeback stage on MBC Music's Show Champion on November 20, performing both "Only U" and "Voodoo Doll". This was followed by additional comebacks on music programs including KBS's Music Bank, MBC's Show! Music Core, SBS's Inkigayo and Mnet's M! Countdown.
