Vlahos
Vlahos or Vlachos (Greek: Βλάχος [ˈvlaxo̞s]) is a very common modern Greek surname, meaning Vlach. The term Vlach was originally an exonym for modern-day Aromanians, although not many families that carry this surname actually have established ancestry from the namesake people. More probable is that the surname originated from its use as a moniker for stock breeders and shepherds in rural, mountainous areas of the country (like Hillbilly).
