Vivaldo Martini, born in 1908 in Bellinzona in the canton of Ticino and died in 1990 in Geneva, was a Swiss painter and professor of painting.

Early life and education

Vivaldo Martini studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna and the Haute École d'art et de design in Geneva.[1]

He has exhibited mainly in Italy,[2] Switzerland, Germany and Israel.

On 1968, Vivaldo Martini was members of the Geneva artists mission at the United States with Henry Meylan to promove Geneva Arts.[3] At this occasion, Vivaldo Martini gave a portrait of Robert Kennedy to Ambassador Roger Tubby[4]

Vivaldo Martini created a workshop that trains artists like Vanya Ferrara,[5] Jean-Pierre Colinge or Genevieve Paris.[6]
