Vishnupuram Award
Vishnupuram Award is an award instituted by The Vishnupuram Ilakkiya Vattam(Vishnupuram Literary Circle), a group of readers of Tamil writer Jeyamohan. The award was named after the writer's famous novel in Tamil, Vishnupuram. This award was initiated to honour the senior Tamil writers who have so far not received any recognition and to promote Tamil fiction. This contains cash award of Rs 1,00,000[1] and a memento, a book on the author will also be published for the occasion.[2]
