Vinpearl is a resort company operated by Vietnamese billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong. It merged with Vincom in 2007.[1]
Vinpearl Land is a resort island in Nha Trang, Vietnam located in the old Hòn Tre island.
Overview
Vinpearl Land lies on the Hòn Tre island which was originally used as a jail in the past. It is now a resort island with a water park, amusement park, and a large 5-star hotel.
Transportation
Vinpearl's transportation from the main land to the island is by the Vinpearl Cable Car and by powerboats to Vinpearl.
The Vinpearl Cable Car
The Vinpearl Land Cable Car System is a gondola lift built April 2006 and opening in March 2007. This giant cable car is 3320m long and supported by 9 pillars, making it the longest over-water cable car in the world. At night, the cable car's cabins and the 9 pillars (which resemble the Eiffel Tower) are lit by a laser system.[2]
The Vinpearl Ferries
Getting to Vinpearl Land by ferry takes 20 minutes, with many ferry services departing when needed.
The Powerboats
To get guests from the shore to the island by power boats took 7 minutes (17 knots/h).
Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang
The Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang is a 5-star resort and one of the resorts, spa of the Vinpearl Nha Trang. It lies on the long beach of the Hon Tre island and has 29 luxury villas, one Presidential Room and one Grand Royal suite.
