Vinh Airport (IATA: VII, ICAO: VVVH) (Vietnamese: Sân bay Vinh) is located in Vinh city of Nghe An province northern Vietnam. It is a mixed military/civil airport. It used to be one of the two major military airbases in Vietnam besides Gia Lam Airbase in Hanoi.

In 2010, the airport handled 276,612 passengers and is expected to reach 1.2 million passengers in 2014.[1] During 2006-2010, the airport has seen the annual increase of passengers of around 60%. A new terminal with designed capacity of 3 million passengers per year and estimated cost of 800 billion VND (around $37.65 million) is under construction.[1]
