Vincent Bastien
Vincent Bastien is professor of marketing at HEC School of Management in Paris, where he teaches marketing strategies in luxury. He also teaches for the TRIUM Global Executive MBA Program, an alliance of NYU Stern, the London School of Economics and HEC School of Management.
Education
Professor Bastien is an alumnus of Ecole Polytechnique (X1967), the Higher Institute of Business and Senior Executive Program of Stanford Business School.
Biography
Professor Bastien began his career at Saint-Gobain in 1972 and was CEO of Saint-Gobain Desjonqueres from 1980 to 1988.
- From 1988 to 1995, Professor Bastien was CEO of Louis Vuitton, a company of the group LVMH. From 1995-1996, he was director of the branch of Sanofi Beauté beauty and CEO of Yves Saint Laurent Parfum. From 1998-1999, he was CEO of Lancel.
- In 2000, Professor Bastien became General Manager of Smart Valley, a consultancy in information systems. From 2001-2003, he became Director General of France and Quebecor Quebecor World Europe.
- Professor Bastien is currently Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Partners-Books, a position he has held since 2004.[1]
