Villar Dora is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 25 km west of Turin. As of 1 January 2009, it had a population of 3,035 [1] and an area of 5.6 km². The municipality of Villar Dora contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Andruini, Baratta, Bert, Borgionera, Bosio, Calliero, Cordonatto, Giorda, Merlo, Montecomposto, Richetto, Torre del colle, and Vindrola.
