Background

Villa Joseph Marie High School was established in 1932 by the Sisters of Saint Casimir. [2] It started off as a small boarding school with the students living in Regina Hall and walking to classes in Maria Hall. In 1957, the current school building was completed and Villa became a traditional day school. [3] Through the 1990s there was a nursing home for retired sisters and others attached to the school. It has since been closed and the space is used for classrooms and student use.
