Viktor Arsenevich Kapitonov (Russian: Виктор Арсеньевич Капитонов, 25 October 1933 – 5 March 2005) was a Soviet cyclist and Olympic Champion. He was born in Kalinin.
He won the gold medal at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome in the Individual Road Race.[1] He also won a bronze medal in the team road race.
