Vigilantism in India
Vigilantism in India refers to when a group metes out extralegal punishment to alleged lawbreakers. Vigilantism is also referred to as "mob justice". It is caused by perception of police corruption[1] and delays in the judicial system,[2] and is usually practised on petty crooks.[2]
