The Vienna Internet Exchange (VIX) is an Internet Exchange Point (IXP) situated in Austria, currently in the following city: Vienna. VIX is a fast-growing, non-profit, neutral and independent peering network. 1996 VIX was established, operating under Austrian Law.
VIX is the largest Internet Exchange Point in Austria, when measured by number of members and traffic.[1]

History
Between 12 and 13 November 2007, the Vienna Internet Exchangepoint was the host of the 11th Euro-IX Forum.[3]
