Victorious 2.0: More Music from the Hit TV Show
Victorious 2.0: More Music from the Hit TV Show is the second soundtrack and the first extended play for the hit Nickelodeon TV series Victorious with songs performed by Victoria Justice and the Victorious cast.
The album was released on June 5, 2012 by Nickelodeon Records, in association with Sony Music Entertainment.[1] In Australia the album was released on November 9 to iTunes and retail stores. Victoria Justice came to Australia for her first ever Australian Promo Tour, where she visited Melbourne and opened a Victorious fashion line and then traveled to Sydney and Hamilton Island. Only one single was released in Australia prior to the release of the album, Make It In America was serviced to Australian radio and media on November 1 by Sony Music.[2]
Singles
The album spawned three singles. "Countdown" was released as the lead single featuring Leon Thomas III as well as Victoria Justice, it was released on Feb 18, 2012 and failed to chart anywhere. The second single "Take a Hint" was released on March 3, 2012 and became the most successful song from the album. It peaked it number 29 on the iTunes Top 100, number 8 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles, and number 60 on Billboard Digital Songs. The third and final single was "Make It in America." It was released May 15, 2012 and peaked on the iTunes chart and number 63.
