Victoria Forest Park, is situated on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. At 206,000 hectares it is New Zealand's largest Forest Park. The park is administered by the Department of Conservation (DOC).[1]
In April 2014 the park gained public attention with the Government allowing new oil and gas exploration permits in the park.[2]
