Victor Hugo (born 5 November 1953) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with South Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL).[1]
Hugo, at the age of 26, appeared in the opening two rounds of the 1980 VFL season, as a centre half-back.[2] Both games were won by South Melbourne, over Geelong at Kardinia Park and then Footscray at Lake Oval.[2] A Narrandera recruit, Hugo performed well enough to continue in the South Melbourne team, but opted to return home to the country.[3][4] He continued his career back at Narrandera and was the Riverina Football League leading goal-kicker in 1985.[5]
