Vicky Jardim (born 24 July[1]) is an Australian television journalist. A reporter for Nine News Melbourne since August 2008, Jardim is currently presenter for Nine News Now.

Career

Vicky Jardim graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Journalism in 2001. During the last year of her degree, she completed a cadetship at Seven Brisbane and then joined Nine Brisbane as a Script Assistant following the completion of her studies.[2]

In 2002, Vicky joined WIN News Shepparton as a general reporter.

At the end of 2004, Vicky accepted a position at WIN News Ballarat where she regularly presented news updates and reported on a range of rural Victorian and Melbourne stories.[2]

In 2006, Vicky joined the ABC in Melbourne as a television and radio reporter. She covered an extensive range of stories including the bushfires, the Gippsland floods, Richard Pratt cartel case and the fallout from the Office of Police Integrity hearings.[2]

After more than seven years in different reporting roles, Vicky joined Nine News Melbourne in August 2008 where she took up a reporting role.[2] Jardim has been presenting Nine News Now as of March 2015.

Personal life

Vicky enjoys travelling, relaxing with friends and winding down with a great book.[2]
