"Versace" is a song by American hip hop group Migos, released on October 1, 2013, as their debut single. The track, which was included on their mixtape Y.R.N. (Young Rich Niggas) (2013), was produced by their frequent collaborator Zaytoven. It is performed by members Quavo, Takeoff and Offset. Following a remix by Canadian rapper Drake, the song went viral[1] and peaked at number 99 on the Billboard Hot 100.[2] Drake performed it at the 2013 iHeartRadio Music Festival.[3] Pop singer Justin Bieber also posted a short video where he is rapping to the song.[4] A remix followed by a music video was released by professional boxer Adrien Broner.[5][6]

Music video

The official music video, directed by Gabriel Hart, was released on September 30, 2013.[7] It shows Migos and Zaytoven at a luxurious mansion, wearing Versace clothes and accessories. The video also features a snippet of Migos' second single "Hannah Montana". As of February 2015, it has gained over 10 million views on YouTube.[8]

Accolades

"Versace" was placed in multiple year-end lists of 2013. Diplo included it in his 2013 round-up set on BBC Radio 1.[9] XXL named it one of the top five hip hop songs of 2013.[10]
