Venomous fish

For toxins used to stun fish in the fishing practices of certain cultures, see Fish toxins.
The lionfish has venomous barbs around its body as a defence against predators.

Venomous fish produce venom harmful to humans. The 1200 or so species of venomous fish include the stonefish, lionfish, scorpionfish, stargazer, and toadfish (Daector and Thalassophryne).[1]
