Vega Group

VEGA Group PLC was an independent consulting, technology and managed solutions company that was based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, UK. Created originally in 1978 to support the mission operations centre at European Space Agency, the company grew over the next 30 years to operate primarily in the Space, Defence and Civil Aviation markets.

The company was purchased by Finmeccanica in June 2008[1] and in January 2009, VEGA Group PLC was merged with the UK subsidiary of SELEX Sistemi Integrati, SELEX Systems Integration Ltd.
