Veendum Lisa is 1987 Malayalam horror film. It is a sequel to the 1978 film Lisa.[1][2][3]

Plot

One evening, Gomathi and her daughter go to a nearby temple. There they meet an attractive girl named Saraswathi. During their conversation, Gomathi learns that Saraswathi is the daughter of Shankara Iyar from the Sreehari Madom family. This family and Gomathi's family were friends many years ago. After the death of Shankara Iyer, Saraswathi's family moved away from Ooty due to financial difficulties. Gomathi has a son named Rajesh who works in a nearby hospital. While studying in London, he dated a girl named Lisa, who went mysteriously missing for several years.

Rajesh and Saraswathi are introduced, and after some time passes, they wed. They decide to spend their honeymoon in a bungalow owned by Saraswathi's mother in Ooty with Ramakrishnan Trivandrum. Some time after their honeymoon, Saraswathi starts behaving strangely like a modern girl. She kills three men - a doctor, a mute servant, and Rajesh's best friend. Rajesh doesn't know that Saraswathi was possessed by Lisa after an evil spirit tried to kill Saraswathi. Lisa, speaking through Saraswathi, reveals that two men raped her and burnt her body. Saraswathi accidentally released her to take her body. Lisa tearfully leaves her lover as she goes to heaven. In the end, the couple leave flowers at Lisa's grave.
