Veena Ramgoolam (née Brizmohun) is a Mauritian, the wife of Navin Ramgoolam, the leader of the Labour Party and ex-Prime Minister of Mauritius. She was first lady while her husband was in office of Prime Minister twice, once from 1995 to 2000 and secondly from 2005 to 2014.[1][2]
Early life
Veena studied Social science at the University of London. She married Navin Ramgoolam on 8 July 1979.[3]
