Damarakuppam has good places of view with Rocks and ponds (Chendra Cheruvu) and Kapu Mondivenganapalli is famous for Hindu village Goddess (Grama Devatha) Sri Iragalamma temple. The temple is known for its ambiance and beauty. A village festival is organized every year in honor of the Goddess. Siddappa konda is one of the important Shiva temple and is fairly close to mandal headquarters Chavatagunta. Some of the well known leaders of the mandal are P. Jagannatha Reddy and P.Kanthamma. P.Bhaskar Reddy the ex-principal of the Junior college is trying to build a Shiva temple in the village.
